Closed Water Test Kits

Reliable on-site testing for closed heating and chilled water systems.
Available in eight kit configurations, DTK Closed Water Test Kits provide a practical solution for routine water quality monitoring across LPHW, chilled water and heating systems.
With a choice of testing methods and instrumentation, the range allows engineers and water treatment professionals to select the testing capability best suited to their system and treatment programme.
Flexible Testing Capability
The eight kit configurations provide a choice of testing capabilities to suit different closed water systems, treatment chemistries and monitoring requirements.
Depending on the kit selected, testing can include M-Alkalinity, chloride, total and calcium hardness, copper and glycol, with additional parameters available for specific monitoring requirements.
Selected configurations also incorporate a handheld multi-meter or MD 610 photometer, providing greater analytical capability for more comprehensive monitoring programmes.
Monitoring Closed Water Systems
DTK Closed Water Test Kits are designed for routine monitoring across a range of closed-loop applications, including Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) systems, chilled water circuits and heating systems.
Regular testing helps engineers monitor water conditions and confirm that treatment programmes continue to provide effective protection for the system and its components.

Designed for Efficient On-Site Testing
DTK Closed Water Test Kits combine established drop test and comparator methods with portable electronic measurement, bringing the equipment required for routine analysis together in one organised solution.
Each kit includes a full-colour instruction manual with clear, step-by-step guidance, helping users carry out testing consistently and efficiently on site.
Built for the Demands of Field Work
Each Closed Water Test Kit is supplied in a robust carry case, keeping reagents, instruments and accessories organised and protected during transport and use.
Depending on the configuration, kits provide approximately 50–200 tests, with waterproof and chemical-resistant reagent labels and documentation providing additional durability for regular field use.

Protecting Closed Water Systems
Maintaining the correct water chemistry helps protect closed systems and preserve their long-term performance. Regular monitoring can identify changing conditions before they contribute to corrosion, scale and deposits, biological activity or reduced system efficiency.
Routine on-site testing gives engineers the information needed to assess treatment conditions, identify changes and take appropriate action to help protect system components and maintain reliable operation.
